If you’re using the Sagebooks 500 curriculum to teach your child Chinese, you might need extra support to help them remember the characters. Writing is a great way to reinforce what your child sees in the books, adding another layer of practice that helps with character recognition.
To supplement our Sagebooks journey, I created a complete set of 500 Chinese character tracing sheets that follow the exact order of the Sagebooks curriculum. These sheets are made with younger learners in mind—especially toddlers—so the characters are big enough for little hands to trace using crayons or markers
Here’s what you’ll find on each sheet:
- Large traceable characters that are easy for young kids to follow
- Stroke order to guide writing practice
- Characters in the same sequence as Sagebooks
- A clean, simple layout with no extra clutter
Tips for Use:
Print the sheets as needed, or make them reusable by slipping each one into a clear sheet protector and using dry-erase markers.
Let Me Know How It Goes! I’d love to hear how these worksheets work for your family. If they’re helpful, feel free to share with other parents or tag me on social media.
